A problem shared is something we can work to resolve.
Life doesn’t give everyone an equal share of happiness, wellness and peace of mind. For some it is abundant, for others, it requires problem sharing to create change for the better.
I have found working with children, carers and educators to be a journey involving collaboration, empathy and problem solving to achieve outcomes which gives Wellness Coaching its rewards.
My journey began as a Primary School Learning Support Assistant. I qualified as an ELSA in 2015, which introduced me to Dr Sarah Temple and Emotion Coaching, and the work of John Gottman and Dan Siegel. I am a qualified facilitator of the University of Melbourne Tuning in to Kids and Tuning in to Teens parenting programmes. I have experience supporting Emotion Coaching and positive mental health and wellbeing in Somerset primary and secondary schools. More recently I have trained as a Youth Mental Health First Aid England first aider and trainer.
